It takes many bees working together to make The Quilting Bee run as smoothly as it does. Without each and very bee, The Quilting Bee would surely not be as successful as it has been in the past and as it is now.
It is my extreme pleasure to “interview” our staff bees and find out more about the jobs and tasks they have and how The Quilting Bee plays a part in each of their lives.
Probably every bee knows the staff member I have chosen to take a closer look at for this first staff profile. In fact, many of you have gone to her for help with everything from specific WordPress customizations to general website design tips. She is a very knowledgeable bee as well as a down to earth friend. I am, of course, talking about our very own Melissa, Bee #188.

Here we are — 14 categories; 13 plugins; 9 users; hundreds of lines of code and 1 snazzy theme — your new Daily Bee newsletter is live. Yes, that’s right, your newsletter. The Daily Bee is a collaborative work pouring together the best efforts from a mix of bees belonging to our wonderful club. Designed to educate, inform and amuse; it’s a newsletter to be proud of.
The Daily Bee would not be here today in all its glory if it weren’t for the hard work and determination of your editor, Joni, and the lead technical advisor a.k.a WordPress Ninja, Melissa. It goes without saying that the contributors, and those bees who took it upon themselves to nag incessantly about the revival of our newsletter, played a large part in bringing this feature of the club back to life. My personal thanks goes to all of those bees.
